A mound of burnt stones.

The Knowe of Garraquoy is a slightly crescentic turf-covered mound, c.1.2 m. maximum height, composed mainly of earth and burnt stones and situated close by a stream.

Orkney Smr Note

A small knoll said to have been an ancient burial ground but no remains of any description have been found in it, situated about a quarter of a mile S of Garraquoy, a quarter of a mile E of Green. About a quarter of the mound, which is composed of loam and marl, has recently been removed for top dressing land. [R1]
