Archaeology Notes

NJ72SW 30 c. 72 24.

An imperforate stone axe found at Newtown (name: NJ 72 24), Balquhin, Chaple, in 1896 was lent for display at the Scottish Exhibition, Glasgow, in 1911 by A Henderson Bishop.

Palace of History 1911.

The present location of this stone axe is not known.
