HY22SE 54 c. 279 206.

'About twenty years ago a small underground structure was discovered in the township of Skeabra, near to the farm-house of Benzieclett (HY 2793 2066). A short account of the discovery appeared in the local press at the time with no definite details.'

Visited by OS (NKB) 21 May 1967.

'The Orcadian' in 1904 reported a N-S aligned curved subterranean passage with niches, measuring 30' x 2'9''-3' x 4' high.

The description provided by the newspaper in 1904 strongly suggests that it was a souterrain that was discovered.
