Aerial photographs show that a jetty, part of William Denny and Brothers Ltd. shipyard, survives on the east bank of the River Leven, 130m north of Dumbarton Football Stadium (NS47SW 134). It measures 17m from NW to SE by 8m transversely and is related to the later activities at the shipyard, being first depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1:1250 National Grid Map (Sheet NS4074NW 1964). A larger jetty 10m to the N (NS 40623 74878) and on the same alignment was demolished sometime after 1984.
