Archaeology Notes

NS28NE 43 centred 2710 8995

A World War II military accommodation camp is situated on the S side of the road from Faslane about 500m ESE of the accommodation camp for the heavy anti-aircraft (AA) battery at Strone (NS29SE 6). Many concrete hut bases survive in the area. It is possible that this camp forms part of the installations connected with the AA battery to the NW.
