Archaeology Notes

NJ63SW 4 63 33 and 63 32.

A number of perforated stones have been collected by J G Callander (1903) in the Garioch district including 5 from the farms of Jericho (NJ 63 33) and Colpy (NJ 63 32) and one from Scotston (NJ 62 31). Their purpose and date cannot be positively deduced.

These perforated stones were donated to Marischal Museum, Aberdeen, and are dealt with under the following numbers: NJ63SW 20, NJ63SW 21, NJ63SW 103.
