'Four small cairns' which have not been opened but similar ones have produced flint arrowheads, small pieces of bone and black earth.
Name Book 1867.
No trace and no local knowledge of these cairns in a newly afforested area.
Visited by OS (ISS) 30 July 1973.
On the date of visit no trace of these small cairns was found. The area in which they are depicted on the 1st edition map (Aberdeenshire, 1870, sheet xliv) lies on a NW-facing slope, but it is now mature coniferous woodland.
