Printed material on British Gas coal gasification process, including information relating to the Lurgi process (developed in former West Germany) at Westfield Gasification Plant in Fife (opened 1961 and the first of its kind in UK) which created town gas using the Lurgi dry grate gasifier technology and post-1975 technological developments developments in slagging coal gasification were introduced at the at the site.
