A large standing stone with a maximum girth of over 20ft (6.1m).

A large standing stone 2.5m high.
Visited by OS (NKB) 12 March 1969.
This large standing stone is situated on a gentle SE-facing slope 370m NNW of Westerton of Petmathen farmsteading (NJ62NE 49.03). It measures about 1.8m square in section by 2.7m in height, and its faces are aligned from E to W and N to S.
