Standing Building Recording (4 September 2019)
(NJ 6511 6389) A standing building survey was undertaken, 4 September 2019, on a large sprawling steading that had served the farm of the Banff District Asylum, which opened in 1865. As the Asylum developed, the need for it to produce some of its own food became recognised and by 1902 there was a complex series of buildings, of which what remains is only a part.
