A farmstead comprising one unroofed building, three roofed buildings, two of which are long buildings with outshots, and four enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Linlithgowshire 1856, sheet 9), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1990). This site now lies within the Boghall district of Bathgate.
