Single storey, 3-bay T-plan cottage with centred pitched-roofed boarded entrance porch and lean-to addition to outer left. Harl-pointed rubble. Fixed 4- and 9-pane timber-framed windows. Stone tiled roof with cement-filled joints; harl-pointed rubble corniced stacks to each gable; replacement, tall cans; cast-iron rainwater goods.
Little Millhouse remains relatively unaltered, its interest lying in the surviving graded stone tiles and the simple, original interior. (Historic Scotland)
