24 & 30 The Square, (?) c.1760. For William Forsyth. A real feeling of age flows from this three-storey, six-window facade to the Square with its moulded centre pend arch (now door) and serene semicircular wallhead gable with chimney, all in good granite ashlar.

Taken from "Aberdeenshire: Donside and Strathbogie - An Illustrated Architectural Guide", by Ian Shepherd, 2006. Published by the Rutland Press http://www.rias.org.uk
