Museum [NAT]

OS 1:10,000 map, 1991.

This building possibly started life as a house, and at one time may have been the colliery school. It became the Lothian Coal Company's offices, then the Group Office for the National Coal Board's Newbattle collieries, and latterly the wages office.

Information taken from Lady Victoria Scottish Mining Museum pamphlet dated 1991
