This was a 2 storeyed, flat roofed bus station. The west side was built of dressed granite (ground floor) with grey brick pilasters enclosing recessed panels faced with vertical rusticated yellow tiles. A wooden framed window at the top of each panel. The corners and much of the upper level constructed from concrete blocks. The north leg had 1 bays and the south leg, 5.5 bays. On the E side the ground floor was faced with glazed yellow tiles. Sloping re-inforced canopy covering the passenger bays. The building contained a shop, ticket office and travel section on the ground floor with offices above.
