Information from A C O'Dell to OS, 1953.
On the northern side of Tomnaverie hill, a wall, with every appearance of being prehistoric, runs round the side, halfway down the slope, from a point opposite the entrance to the quarry road till it is lost at the mouth of the quarry. (NJ 4863 0351). Further to the west, in the same line, another wall runs eastwards for 50 yards and terminates in a bend like a fish hook.
