A farmstead comprising one unroofed building, three roofed L-shaped buildings, two of which have outshots and the third has an attached horse-gang, and two enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ayrshire 1857, sheet lxix). One roofed building is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1979).
