(Location cited as NN 785 039). Housing, Ashfield, mid 19th century. An interesting complex of 1- and 2-storey rubble houses. The most notable part consists of three single-storey and one two-storey ranges round a green. Built in conjunction with a silk-dyeing mill (NN70SE 70). The village is split by the Scottish Central Railway main line.
