Situated on the N side of the B8000 public road are the offices for the Gunpowder works and two of the cottages for workers. All are presently occupied.

The 'Office', is a single storey house with a centrally positioned porch for the front door. Above the door is a circular hole in a square panel, possibly for a clock. The building has a slated roof, two chimney stacks.

Immediately to the NE are two further cottages, one now named 'Glenrosa'. Both have slated roofs.
