The stone-walled farmhouse and steading with attached courtyard have been recorded on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 2003). There are fragmentary earthworks of what may be an earlier enclosure aligned NE and SW.

Information from RCAHMS (MMB) 2 February 2004

This site was visited as part of the RCAHMS Scottish Farm Buildings Survey. The farmstead comprises a farmhouse with a separate outbuilding to the S. The outbuilding consists of a 3-stall stable and 6-stall byre plus long barn with loft, cart shed and general store. There is an open courtyard and enclosed pony pund attached to the N side of the barn. The farm was in good condition and occupied on the date of visit.
