Carmunnock Parish Church, Kirk Road, rebuilt 1762

T-plan, two forestairs, 1819 vestry, Stuart aisle, 18th-century bellcote, rubble and ashlar dressings. First World War memorial stained glass, Norman Macleod MacDougall. Churchyard, 18th-/19th-century headstones and table tombs. Watch house, beside gate, simple, contains 1828 Instructions for Watch. An irregular cluster of 18th-century vernacular houses survives, huddling protectively around the church.
