Archaeology Notes

NO53SW 68 5457 3503

What may be an enclosure and rig has been recorded on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1996, 1998) lying about 400m N of Carnoustie. The rig, which curves slightly on plan, is oriented roughly NW-SE. Immediately to the SE of the rig an L-shaped length of ditch may have formed one corner of a rectilinear enclosure.

Information from RCAHMS (KMM) 8 January 2004.
