Accessing Scotland's Past Project

A Roxburghe estate plan of mid-nineteenth century date shows the farm of Trows which was built at this time.

The farmhouse lay a short distance away from the steading. It stands two storeys high, and was originally L-shaped on plan, with a long rear wing.
