Field Visit (30 November 2009)
Modern pier which appears to be mainly constructed of steel and concrete. Steel piers are visible beneath the surface but wooden piers were observed along the outer edges. A concrete slipway lies at the south end of the pier. A breakwater lies opposite the pier at the north-east end.
