Albert Drive
No 312, c.1875. Villa with window and other features not unlike nearby 'Green Gables' of 1851, one of four Alexander Thomson villas demolished in the 1960s to make way for the Corporation's deck-access flats at St Andrew's Drive. No 328, 1891. Mannerisms inspired by 'Greek' Thomson. Colonnaded first-floor bow window, with low cast-iron balustraded balcony, now Infant Department, Craigholme School. No 332, c.1880. Symmetrical villa with distinctive moulding and sculptural detail.
