Archaeology Notes

NJ82NW 119 centred 8037 2570

(Location cited as NJ 8037 2570). A large area of rig-and-furrow cultivation covers the summit and slopes of Barra Hill, and also overlies the interior of the fort NJ82NW 4.00. It probably represents one of the best examples of early rig in the north-east.
