NH91SW 5 9467 1475 and 9470 1486.
At NH 9467 1475, surmounting a knoll, is a circular stone-walled hut measuring 13.5m between the centres of a wall spread to 3.0m. The entrance is in the SE.
105m NNE are the remains of another of which only the N and E arcs are well-preserved. It measures about 11.5m in diameter. The entrance is in the ESE.
One or two stony mounds near the first hut may be recent clearance from relatively recent cultivation near by.
Surveyed at 1/10,000.
Visited by OS (A A) 18 February 1974.
The SW hut-circle was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey at Craig Pityoulish and Craiggowrie. It measures 13.5m in diameter with a wall spread up to 3m in width with an entrance on the SE. The stony mounds observed by the OS (1974) are probably associated with the farmstead NH91SW 27.
Visited by T Holden and M Dalland (Headland Archaeology) 25 June 1999.
