Nairn NH 88 56 NH 85 NE

This burgh, which was probably founded late in the 12th century, is first referred to as 'lnvernairn' in the reign of Alexander 11 (1214-49). Nothing remains of castles traditionally located at NH c. 877 569 and NH 885 565.
