Archaeology Notes

(Tolan notes pit-circle at termination of alignment).

M Tolan 1988.

At the E terminal of the pit-alignment, air photographs show the remains of a pitted enclosure (30m in diameter) with traces of an internal feature which may be a palisade; the relationship between the two is unclear.

Information from SDD (HBM), 1991.
