(Location cited as NH 629 919). Migdale Mill, early 19th century. A two-storey rubble building on an L plan, with a 6-spoke wood and iron wheel, 10ft (3.05m) diameter and 2ft 9ins (0.83m) wide. The interior is gutted and there are the remains of a pot-barley mill nearby.

J R Hume 1977.

NH 629 919 A programme of archaeological work was undertaken before and during the conversion of the mill (NH69SW 58) into a private dwelling. The mill dates from the early 19th century and went out of use in the 1950s. Survey revealed that the mill was of three phases of construction in the 19th century and that some of the mill machinery survived in situ. Work included a desk-based assessment, photographic survey, measured drawing and a watching brief on excavations.

Report deposited in Highland SMR and the NMRS.
