Within an area of boggy ground to the east of Dun Bhuirg are the footings of a small, rectangular structure, 6.0m by 5.0m. These footings, 1.0m broad and up to 0.5m high, appear as heather clad banks with some earthfast stone visible. The structure is orientated north-east to south-west with crags to the north-east and south.
