Archaeology Notes

NH67SE 2 6903 7434.

There is a naturally formed cairn in the face of the hill north of the farm offices of Inchandown.

R Maclean 1886.

No trace of any cairn was seen on the hill face north of Inchindown. It is not known what Maclean means by a "naturally formed cairn", unless he is referring to large masses of scree which cover the hill-side.

Visited by OS (W D J) 9 May 1963.
