OS 6" map, (1959)

This is a heap of stones, 20' in diameter and not more than 18" high, completely covered with small trees and nettles.

A A Woodham 1956.

This cairn, composed of medium and small stones and covered by small trees and scrub, is c 8.0m in diameter. It is situated at the top of the bank overlooking the Cromarty Firth, and at the foot of a cultivated field. It is in an inconspicuous position, and quite untypical of the usual situation for a cairn. It may be the result of recent field clearance.

Visited by OS (R B) 12 January 1966.

Cairn - not found.

CFA/MORA Coastal Assessment Survey 1998.
