NH66NW 22 6315 6817

(Location cited as NH 632 683). Novar Toll, Alness, early 19th century. A neat single-storey building, with a projecting semi-octagonal bay. There is space for a toll plaque on the central face of the bay.

One of the surviving wrought iron toll gates is now situated at a house named Cucraggie Lodge on the current 1:10000 scale Ordnace Survey chart copy map (1990) (see ).
