Vertical air photography (CPE/Scot/316 1139, flown 16 March 1948) has recorded the faint circular cropmark of a possible henge 240m SE of Foulcausey steading (NJ91SW 66), and at a point where a curved basin was apparent under conditions of low sun on the date of visit.

Visited by R S Kidd, W Risk and G Jones, 1 November 1998.

NMRS, MS/992/5.

(Reclassified as 'Henge': Nil Antiquity). The site of this alleged henge is situated on a gentle NW-facing slope at the SE corner of an improved field about 240m SE of Foulcausey farmsteading (NJ91SW 66). On the date of visit nothing could be seen in this area, which was heavily disturbed by cattle, and no artificial features are visible on the vertical aerial photograph (CPE/Scot/316 1139), taken in March 1948.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS, RJCM), 3 March 1999.
