A crofting township, comprising six roofed, five unroofed buildings, five enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 5). To the SE is an extensive system of head-dykes (NB45SW 31) which may be partly associated with this crofting township.

Twenty-two roofed, two partially roofed, four unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
