Comprising four separate sites, each with several buildings connected to the production of boats.

NMRS manuscript contains more information on this site. The report covers the boat yard, its layout and basic equipment as seen on visit (1990). The company was established in 1747, and in addition, Ordnance Survey maps of 1857, 1893, 1904 and 1966 show the development of the boat yard.
