At NH 6695 2769 on the gentle S-facing slopes of Druim a' Chala is an oval stone-walled hut (? long-house), measuring c. 13.5m ESW-WNW by, at its widest in the W, c. 9.0m, and at its narrowest in the E, c. 6.0m, between the centres of a wall spread to c. 2.5m all round. No facing stones can be seen. The simple entrance in the ESE arc is c. 1.5m wide. In the vicinity of the hut are a number of cultivation plots marked by stone clearance heaps, lynchets, and ruined field walls. One, on the N side of the hut, measures c. 35.0m by c. 25.0m.
Centred c. 300m S and separated by broken ground is another area of clearance heaps, possibly associated.
