An Caolas Barrach (Sound of Barra) [name centred NF 75 09].
This 'boat wreck' measures about 60 ft (18.3m) by 10ft (3m) and the 'sternpost' stands 7ft (2.1m) above the sand. It is intermittently visible in the intertidal zone.

Field Visit (6 August 2008 - 7 August 2008)
HEADLAND were commissioned by Historic Scotland to inspect the site of a wreck (NMRS Number: NF70NW 8004) on the island of Fuday in the Sound of Barra, and to prepare a report bringing together the results and analysis of previous assessment work with the results of the assessment carried out as part of the present commission
