Archaeology Notes

NH55NW 6 c. 54 58.

A stone circle existed on the high ground of Humberston and was demolished within living memory. Its site is clearly visible a few yards south of Goyal Road.

N Macrae 1923.

No further information was found regarding the stone circle during field investigation. The land to the south of Goyal Road is arable and no trace of a stone circle could be seen.
