What may be a farmstead comprising one unroofed long building is depicted on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map (Banffshire 1872, sheet xiii) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1981).

The remains of a two-compartmented building have been noted on a moderate NE-facing slope at an altitude of 230m OD.
