NJ43SE 15 49075 34314

(Location cited as NJ 491 343). Mid 19th century. A 2-storey rubble building on an L plan, with an all-iron overshot wheel. This powered a rope drive to a threshing mill and sawmill at a higher level, two of the pulleys of which survive.

1/3-storey rubble-built piend-roof; T-plan wing enclosing overshot wheel of approx. 15' dia. fed by trap, chute over wheel opening lintel to tail-race when not in use. Gutted except for wheel. (Historic Scotland)
