Archaeology Notes

NT27NE 160.01 Centred 2875 7500

An accomodation camp for the heavy anti-aircraft battery (NT27NE 160.00), has been identified from vertical air photographs (visible on RAF 106G/Scot/UK/118, flown 1946, 6042-3). Situated some 200m E of the S end of Findlay Gardens on the W area of the Golf Course. The camp has since been demolished to make way for the post-war golf course.
