NT27NE 160.01 Centred NT 2875 7500 Military Camp

A heavy anti-aircraft battery with what is probably a radar ramp has been identified from vertical air photographs (visible on RAF 106G/Scot/UK/118, flown 1946, 6042-3), on a slight rise in an area which is now occupied by Craigentinny Golf Course. A four gun emplacement battery with an accomodation camp (NT27NE 160.01) some 150m to the W. The battery has since been demolished to make way for the post-war golf course.
