Field Visit (1996)

Just above the road are the insubstantial remains of a rectangular drystone structure - a bothy(?) - c4m W-E by c2.4m N-S over the remains of walls c 0.5m wide and at most 0.2m high. The structure is situated by a burn so there has been a certain amount of flash flood erosion in the area. It is possible that there are other small structures in the vicinity, though these were not noted during this first assessment.
