Measured Survey (April 2010 - September 2010)

NJ 00597 21804 A survey was undertaken, April–September 2010, of the memorials in this cemetery (NJ02SW 29) as part of an ongoing study of graveyards in the Highland area. The churchyard was extended in 1911. A total of 431 memorials were recorded.

Watching Brief (23 November 2017)

NJ 00605 21837 A watching brief was undertaken, 23 November 2017, during work associated with the excavation of a service trench for an underground electricity cable trench alongside Abernethy Old Kirk (Canmore: 109001). The trench cut through a deep topsoil horizon that immediately overlay a sterile silty sand substrate. No finds or features of archaeological significance were recorded.
