This L-plan steading incorporates an older north range, which includes a former house. A covered cattle court and horse-engine house, in the angle of the L, were demolished in early 1995. In addition to the former house (re-used as a workshop and latterly a byre), the north range contains bothy, stable and cattle shed. The west range, to which a lean-to implement shed is appended, houses a threshing barn and a two-bay cart shed with granary over. The present farmhouse stands to the east of the steading. The steading is no longer in use and was in a fair condition on the date of visit.
