Surveying Details

24 April 1984. A wreck, with a 'classic barge shape', was located on 16 March 1984 at 55 42 06N, 005 03 31W. It's length was 60 feet (18 metres), width 21 feet (6.4 metres, and height 1.8 metres. It is lying with its keel orientated 035/215 degrees, in a general depth of 77 metres.

Report by HMS BRECON, 18 March 1984.

30 November 1990. The site was examined between the 5-12 November 1990 by divers, a manned submersible (lr5) and scorpio (rov) at 55 42 06N, 005 03 35.5W. The site was not properly identified but appears to be a barge containing a boiler. The length is about 12 metres. It stands some 1.8 metres high and lies on an oreintation of 035/215 degrees.
