Formerly entered as NK27NE 8225 and classified as Obstruction.

A report of 1945 gives a position of 57 46 12N, 001 33 42W.

The significance of this record remains unclear. In the apparent absence of a specific source, recorded diver survey or remote sensing, it presumably refers to a net snag of uncertain significance.

UKHO chart no. 5011 (1978, revised 1993) notes no wreck at the cited location, which falls 12.5nm NE of Rattray Head in about 60m depth of water. No seabed type is indicated nearby, but there are several inaccurately-located wrecks in the vicinity.
