16 April 1945. The wreck's position is given as 57 46 12N, 003 23 48W. Its length is 46 feet (14 metres) and height 18 feet (5.4 metres). Its keel lies on an orientation of 080/260 degrees.
21 December 1984. The site is stated to be the wreck of the ST GERALDINE.

24 March 1986. The site was examined on 13 November 1985 at 57 46 10N, 003 23 46W. NGR eastings 316963, northings 876360. The least echosounder depth was 53 in a general depth of 56 metres. No scour pits were observed. The side scan sonar indicated a heightof 3.9 metres, a length of 15 metres, and a beam of 5 metres. The keel is on an orientation of 0/180 degrees lying e/s. The site was confirmed as a small wreck by underwater video (supplied by HMS CATTISTOCK).

A1204 mushroom vent, 2 portholes: from seabed.
NMRS, MS/829/35.
UKHO chart no. 115 (1978, revised 1993) charts this wreck (Wk) at 62m depth 3nm of the Covesea (or Halliman) Skerries lighthouse (NJ27SW 20.00: NJ 20375 71273). The location indicated falls within the S side of the dropoff into the deep channel of the Inner Moray Firth. No seabed type is indicated nearby.
The date and circumstances of the loss of this vessel remain unclear.
The possible equation (by UKHO) of this wreck with the recorded loss of the Saint Geraldine remains unverified, but is tentatively accepted. No loss of that name is cited by Whittaker.
